The SHA 56 is the first cordless 2-in-1 vacuum shredder and blower made by STIHL. As part of STIHL's AK System range, the SHA 56 is ideal for homeowners wanting to collect leaves and hedge cuttings, or to use the blower function to clear debris.
As a cordless machine, the SHA 56 is quiet to operate which makes it ideal for noise sensitive environments.
A rotatable handle ensures comfort when you are using the SHA 56 as a vacuum or blower, and converting between the two is straightforward. You don't need any tools, simply click the tubes into place, twist the handle 180 degrees and you're ready to go.
The handle features a variable speed trigger which allows you to easily control the suction and blowing force to suit the task at hand.
The SHA 56 is equipped with an adjustable, padded shoulder strap to support the weight of the machine and make it easier for you to operate.
As this is a vacuum shredder, the SHA 56 features a metal shredding blade which breaks down the collected materials which reduces the volume that's collected.
With the round nozzle that's supplied with the SHA 56, a maximum air throughput of 560 m3/hour is achieved when in the blower configuration. This is ideal for clearing light to medium debris such as grass clippings and leaves. For increased air speed, a flat nozzle is available to buy as an accessory.
The SHA 56 is part of Stihl's AK Sytem range, meaning it's compatible with the full range of AK batteries. This bundle includes two AK 20 batteries which provide up to 25 minutes of run time each.
